Cookie notice and external services

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser on your device. They may be necessary to provide a service or used for additional purposes, such as statistics or advertising. Whether consent is required depends on their purpose and actual configuration: strictly necessary cookies do not require consent; non-essential tools requiring consent must not be activated before that consent is given.
The current notice cookie
The cookie notice currently used may set the first-party cookie displayCookieConsent when you click the close button. This cookie only remembers that the notice has been closed so that it is not displayed repeatedly. Its configured lifetime is approximately three months; its scope may depend on the language section in which it is created.
This cookie does not contain your name or email address and does not record separate preferences for service categories. Closing the notice, scrolling or continuing to browse does not constitute general consent to non-essential tracking tools.
Statistics and third-party resources
The previous Google Analytics service is not active on the updated main pages. The embedded Stripe component and maps have been replaced with external links; PayPal is opened by submitting the corresponding form.
Introducing statistics or other tools in future will require a review of their configuration, an updated notice and, where necessary, a prior choice by the user.
Payments, maps and other external links
The PayPal form sends data to PayPal when you submit it. The Stripe button opens the payment page hosted by Stripe. The map buttons on the contact pages open Google Maps. The embedded Stripe component and external PayPal images have been removed from the updated payment pages, and the embedded map has been removed from the updated contact pages.
When you open these services or other external links on the website, the providers process data under their own privacy notices and may use their own cookies. For information, including any international transfers, consult the notice applicable to the service you choose:
Managing cookies
You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Deleting the notice cookie may cause the notice to appear again. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect features of the services you choose to use, including external services.
