The sun at work in our workshop
Making tools is our trade. Since December 2008, our Broni premises have also been generating electricity from the sun. The photovoltaic installation is part of OMGF’s history and a practical choice: to generate renewable electricity and help reduce CO₂ emissions.

Part of our premises
The modules are fully integrated into the building’s roof, which accommodates a 45 kWp installation within our workshop structure. Here, in the same place where we work every day, sunlight is converted into electricity.
The installation comprises 114 photovoltaic panels. The roof is also equipped with a fall-protection lifeline for roof access and maintenance work at height.

2008
A choice made in 2008
When the installation entered service in December 2008, Officina Martello di GIORGI F.LLI s.r.l. also became an electricity producer. The total of approximately 790 MWh covers the installation’s production over the period from December 2008 to September 2026.
2019
A new chapter in 2019
The refurbishment was completed on 23 September 2019, with a brief interruption to production. The work retained the full integration of the modules into the roof, continuing the choice made in 2008.
